Augmented Reality App<\/h3>\n

Q\u2022be<\/em> is an augmen\u00adted reality appli\u00adca\u00adtion we deve\u00adlo\u00adped at a hacka\u00adthon about cities of the future. The application\u2019s purpose is to enable citi\u00adzens to visua\u00adlize their own ideas and sugges\u00adti\u00adons for gap sites and brown\u00adfields inside the city. With Micro\u00adsoft Holo\u00adLens the citi\u00adzens are able to realize their visi\u00adons holo\u00adgra\u00adphi\u00adcally with digi\u00adtal blocks in real size and directly on site. We chose this cube-based construc\u00adtive form because it allows an easy entry point and there\u00adfore invol\u00adves people of all ages and without any previous know\u00adledge.<\/p>\n

To better assess the own sugges\u00adtion the construct will not be only shown in real size but also addi\u00adtio\u00adnally as a smal\u00adler model in any desi\u00adred place which can be edited, too. Addi\u00adtio\u00adnally to the appli\u00adca\u00adtion for Holo\u00adLens there is a smart\u00adphone appli\u00adca\u00adtion which allows to judge, comment and enhance the ideas. Further\u00admore other\u2019s sugges\u00adti\u00adons can be tracked and viewed in real size with mobile augmen\u00adted reality.<\/p>\n

In doing so urban plan\u00adners get the chance to get to know what citi\u00adzens really wish for their area, which sugges\u00adti\u00adons are the most favo\u00adred and be able to have totally new ideas. Our purpose were the enab\u00adle\u00adment of collec\u00adtive crea\u00adtion and the inclu\u00adsion of all people on the spot. We reali\u00adzed a working proto\u00adtype for Micro\u00adsoft Holo\u00adLens and a click\u00addummy of the mobile app.<\/p>\n
