Hi, I am Farina,<\/h1>\n

designer of immersive interactions.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

After my bachelor\u2019s degree in commu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adtion design with focus on inter\u00adac\u00adtion design (UI<\/span> + UX<\/span>) at the Braun\u00adschweig Univer\u00adsity of Art<\/a>, I am curr\u00adently study\u00ading Digi\u00adtal Media (MA<\/span>) at the Univer\u00adsity of the Arts in Bremen. I\u2019m really enthu\u00adsi\u00adastic about immer\u00adsive media like virtual and augmen\u00adted reality (and 360\u00b0 videos). I star\u00adted with hacka\u00adthons<\/a>, VR<\/span> work\u00adshops<\/a> and my first VR<\/span> project Ana Kalypto<\/a><\/em> which I reali\u00adzed with a class\u00admate. Since then I\u2019m fasci\u00adnated by the incredi\u00adble possi\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adties but also the respon\u00adsi\u00adbi\u00adli\u00adties of a complete new medium.<\/p>\n

I love reali\u00adzing projects in a short time, that\u2019s why you can find me at events such as work\u00adshops, hacka\u00adthons, game jams and resi\u00adden\u00adcies regu\u00adlarly. Addi\u00adtio\u00adnally, I enjoy to get people exci\u00adted about immer\u00adsive media and am there\u00adfore active as speaker, mentor and tutor. Further\u00admore, I admi\u00adnis\u00adtrate the website meetXR.de<\/a>, a calen\u00adder with XR<\/span> events in Germany, and foun\u00added the XR<\/span> meetup BREMERSIV<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Addio\u00adnally, I\u2019m very inte\u00adrested in specu\u00adla\u00adtive and criti\u00adcal design. We live in a time of constant chan\u00adges and deve\u00adlop\u00adments with far-reaching conse\u00adquen\u00adces. I believe that art and design are able to call atten\u00adtion on those chan\u00adges and deve\u00adlop\u00adments, can be thought-provo\u00adking, and moti\u00advate to parti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adtion. There\u00adfore I deve\u00adlo\u00adped a fictio\u00adnal service as my bache\u00adlor project<\/a> which seemin\u00adgly imita\u00adtes the user and takes over their activi\u00adties on social networks with the help of arti\u00adfi\u00adcial intel\u00adli\u00adgence.<\/p>\n
